Built for Families

An office that works for everyone in the household.

Chiropractic care is not just for people in pain. It is for families who want to function better, stay active, and have a trusted provider who understands their whole picture, not just a single complaint.

At Life Charge Chiropractic, we see patients at every stage of life. From parents managing back pain or tension headaches, to kids who need a gentle, thoughtful evaluation, to expecting moms who want support throughout pregnancy, our office is designed to feel accessible, calm, and welcoming for everyone.

Dr. Palmer adjusts his technique to the patient in front of him. The approach for a child is completely different from the approach for an adult or a pregnant patient. You will always know what is being done and why, before it happens.

Who We See

Different people. Same commitment to clear, specific care.

01
Parents and adults
Back pain, neck tension, headaches, posture issues, and the wear of a busy life. We help parents stay functional, not just manage symptoms.
02
Children and teens
Growing spines benefit from evaluation too. Dr. Palmer uses gentle, age-appropriate techniques for pediatric patients with a calm, unhurried approach.
03
Expecting moms
Pregnancy places real structural demands on the low back and pelvis. Modified positioning and gentle care make chiropractic safe and supportive throughout pregnancy.
04
Wellness-focused households
Some patients are not in pain, they want to stay that way. Maintenance care helps the body adapt, recover, and function at its best over time.

Across Every Life Stage

What we look for in a family exam.

A family chiropractor knows how the body changes from infancy to senior years. These are the specific things we evaluate so the care plan matches the person in front of us, not a generic adult template.

01Pediatric

Pediatric spine considerations

A child's spine is not a small adult spine. We evaluate growing structures with gentle, age-appropriate techniques and look for early patterns worth addressing while they are still easy to correct.

02Posture

Postural patterns from school and devices

Hours bent over a phone, tablet, or laptop are reshaping how kids and teens carry themselves. We screen for forward head posture, rounded shoulders, and the spinal stress that follows, often with corrective exercises as part of the home plan.

03Prenatal

Prenatal care for moms

Pregnancy changes the pelvis, the lumbar curve, and the soft tissue that supports the uterus. We use Webster-informed assessment and modified positioning to support comfort and pelvic balance through every trimester.

04Teens

Sports performance for teens

Youth athletes train harder and earlier than ever. We screen for asymmetries, mobility limits, and movement patterns that tend to precede injury, and address them while the body is still building its base.

05Adults

Adult corrective care

Most adults walk in with patterns built over decades. We evaluate the spine, nervous system, and posture, then build a plan that actually changes the underlying structure rather than just managing symptoms.

06Seniors

Senior mobility care

Older spines need a gentler, more specific approach. We focus on preserving mobility, balance, and nervous system function so the years ahead stay active rather than restricted.

07Stress

Family stress patterns

Busy households accumulate nervous system stress, and that stress shows up structurally. We evaluate where it is sitting in each family member, because chronic stress is a structural and neurological problem too.

08Inherited

Inherited postural patterns

Kids tend to carry themselves the way the adults around them do. When we see a parent and a child, we often see the same posture pattern. Catching it early in the next generation is much easier than correcting it later.

A Connected View Across the Family

A family chiropractor knows how the body changes across life stages.

Most chiropractic offices are built around one kind of patient. The adult with back pain. A family chiropractor has to think differently. The newborn, the toddler, the elementary kid carrying a heavy backpack, the teen athlete, the pregnant mom, the busy parent, and the grandparent are all going to walk through the same door, and they all need a different approach.

Getting kids checked early matters. The spine, the pelvis, and the nervous system are setting their default patterns in the first years of life. When we catch and address structural stress early, we are working with a body that is still adapting and growing, which is much more responsive than trying to correct decades of compensation later.

We also see something most providers miss, the connected-system view across a whole family. When we examine a parent and a child together, we often see the same posture pattern, the same area of spinal stress, the same compensation. Some of that is inherited. Most of it is environmental, the same chairs, the same screens, the same daily habits. Seeing it as a family pattern changes the conversation about what care looks like at home.

Care evolves from baby through senior because the body does. The technique, the force, the focus, and the goals all shift. What stays the same is the principle, evaluate the spine and nervous system as a connected system, and build care around what is actually found.

Common Questions

Family chiropractic FAQ.

Why see one chiropractor for the whole family?
When one provider knows your whole household, the care gets better. We see patterns across family members, the same posture, the same stress points, the same habits. It also makes scheduling easier, the visits feel familiar to your kids, and the conversations about home habits, ergonomics, and movement actually translate across the family.
Are kids really safe to be adjusted?
Yes, when delivered by a chiropractor trained in pediatric care. The technique used for a child is completely different from an adult adjustment. The force is a fraction of what an adult receives, often no more than the pressure you would use to test a ripe tomato. We use age-appropriate methods and explain everything before it happens.
At what age should kids start chiropractic care?
There is no minimum age. Many families bring infants in for an evaluation in the first weeks of life, especially after a difficult delivery. Others wait until the toddler years or until something specific shows up. Earlier is generally better because the spine and nervous system are still setting their default patterns. Whenever you start, the first step is a calm, age-appropriate exam.
Can older adults benefit from chiropractic?
Often, yes. Older spines need a gentler, more specific approach, and the goal shifts toward preserving mobility, balance, and nervous system function rather than aggressive correction. Many of our senior patients tell us care has helped them stay active, sleep better, and avoid the slow loss of function they were starting to see.
Do you take families together?
Yes. Many of our families come in together, parents and kids on the same visit. The office is set up to handle this, and we time appointments so the whole family can be seen efficiently. Kids often feel more comfortable when they see their parent get adjusted first.
What do you do differently for different ages?
Almost everything. The exam, the positioning, the force, and the goals all shift. A pediatric adjustment uses very light pressure and is often done with the child sitting in a parent's lap. A prenatal adjustment uses side-lying positions and pregnancy cushions. An adult corrective adjustment is more specific and structural. A senior adjustment focuses on gentle mobility and nervous system support. Same principles, very different application.
